Help Us Launch a Friendship Café at Parklands

Following the success of our Friendship Café at Locking Road, we are delighted to be planning a second café at Parklands Medical Centre. The Friendship Café is led by volunteers and provides a space where patients can enjoy a friendly chat, meet new people, and spend time in a welcoming and relaxed environment. It has already made a real difference for many people in our community, helping to reduce loneliness and build new friendships. To help us get started, we are looking for friendly volunteers who would like to be involved. Whether you can offer a listening ear, help welcome visitors, make refreshments, or simply enjoy spending time with others, we'd love to hear from you. We are holding a kick-off meeting on Thursday 3 September 2026 at 9:30am at Parklands Medical Centre for anyone interested in finding out more. No previous experience is necessary.
