The Meningitis B (MenB) vaccine is currently available through both the routine NHS childhood immunisation programme and a special, free one-off NHS summer vaccination campaign for eligible young adults. It is also privately avaiable at local travel clinics and pharmacies in the Bristol, North Somerset and Souih Gloucestershire area.
A limited-time, two-dose NHS MenB programme is running to protect young people heading to university or further education where the risk of transmission in halls is higher.
Service opens on 13 July 2026
Online booking will be available from Monday 13 July 2026 for people born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008.
